It was my roommate’s birthday yesterday and I decided to surprise her with a huge birthday cake!

It was really hard for me because I had to hide it from her for 2 days while we shared the same kitchen. When I asked her if she had any idea about the cake, she said it was until the afternoon of her birthday that she somehow guessed what I was hiding in the fridge (lol). Although it was my first time making such a big cake, I did struggle a bit but the process was really enjoyable. The recipe that I used to make the cake was from “Cooking tree” – a baking channel that I really like and usually learn from.
